Apply for SLU or PUD
Apply for a Special Land Use (SLU) Permit or Planned Unit Development (PUD)

The applicant applies to the Planning Commission or the legislative body, depending on the jurisdiction, for a Special Land Use (SLU) or Planned Unit Development (PUD). Public hearings are required before approving a SLU or PUD

SLU or PUD Approval:
The Planning Commission or legislative body grants the SLU or PUD and applicant is allowed to build according to restrictions. Go To Site Plan Review Process

SLU or PUD Denial:
The Planning Commission or legislative body denies the SLU or PUD. The applicant drops the proposed project or modifies the proposal and resubmits. SLUs and PUDs cannot be appealed to the ZBA unless specifically allowed in the ordinance.
