Van Buren Trail
Bridge of Paw Paw River
The Van Buren Trail has an unimproved surface and runs from the city of Hartford to the city of South Haven.

There is parking in the Hartford trailhead but not in South Haven. We are in the process of planning a new trailhead with parking.

Directions:
The Van Buren Trail South Haven Trailhead is located on Lovejoy Street next to the water tower. To find the trail head take Lagrange Street to Aylworth Ave (next to South Haven High School across from McDonalds) go west on Aylworth Ave to Kalamazoo Street, South on Kalamazoo Street to Lovejoy Ave, the trail is a 0.1 miles to the west on Lovejoy Ave on the south side of the street.

The City of Hartford trailhead is located on Prospect Street. Take the Hartford exit off I-94 and head north. From the light at West Main Street, go north about 0.3 of a mile to Prospect Street (across from the High School), go west on Prospect about 0.2 miles (just over the railroad tracks). The trail head is on the south side of the street.
