There are no active landfills in Van Buren County. All waste generated is collected and transported to landfills in other counties.
Van Buren County has a solid waste management plan that is available for review by contacting the MSU Extension office in Paw Paw at (269) 657-7745.
The MSU Extension office also coordinates household hazardous waste collection days, computer recycling days, training for composting and master gardening and much more.
