The Nature Conservancy
The Mission of The Nature Conservancy is to preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive. Currently this international conservation organization owns more than 92 million acres around the world.

The Michigan Chapter of the Nature Conservancy with its members and conservation partners, has protected almost 72,000 acres of critical natural lands in Michigan.
