Sue Hodapp, Master Gardener of Kalamazoo is coordinating this program and has started the project.
This is a great volunteer service she and her group is providing and I am sure she can use some help form other Master Gardeners in the area.

Trail Funding and Volunteer Projects
Due to the reduction in trail funds (the Kal-Haven Trail is not covered by the Michigan Recreational Passport System and we can no longer charge for trail passes), We need volunteers more than ever. We will have to cut back on paid staff hours at the Trail heads and along the trail. We have a number of projects we would like to work on to enhance the trail and we could use some help to do it.
