Healthy Home: Understanding Your Home's Environmental Impacts Top

This free workshop will utilize the Home Assessment System (Home*A*Syst) guide as a reference point to discuss several areas such as how to protect ground and surface water resources around your home, managing storm water, household septic systems, yard and garden care, household hazardous waste, recycling, and more!

This workshop is being hosted by the Van Buren Conservation District as part of the Watershed Workshop Series - a collaboration between the Black River Watershed Project and the Paw Paw River Watershed Project.

Van Buren Youth Camp


This special workshop for lake residents will provide an opportunity to increase your understanding of lake ecology and management issues. This workshop is sponsored by the Van Buren County MSU Extension, Van Buren Conservation District and the Southwest Michigan Planning Commission with support from the Michigan Department of Environmental Qulity.

Lake Michigan College- South Haven Campus

This series is being sponsored by the Allegan Conservation District and the Van Buren Conservation District as part of the Lake Michigan College Community Education program and will consist of four classroom sessions and a Backyard Habitat Expo. Cost for the entire series will be $50.00. The Expo is free of charge and open to the public, so bring your friends!
