Flood Hazard Mapping
The Mitigation Directorate's Flood Hazard Mapping Technical Services Division maintains and updates the National Flood Insurance Program maps. Flood maps are tell us where the flood risks are based on local hydrology, topology, precipitation, flood protection measures such as levees, and other scientific data.
