Special Meetings: 

Special meeting March 10, 2015 Budget workshop, 7:30 PM at the Bangor township hall, 32550 CR 687 Bangor, Michigan. 

The Bangor Township Election Commission will hold a special meeting March 10, 2015 7:20pm at the Bangor Township Hall 32550 CR 687 Bangor, Michigan.

Special Hearing:  The Bangor Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budget for the fiscal year 2015-2016 at Bangor Township Hall 32550 CR 687 March 10th, 2015 at 8:30pm.  The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be subject of this hearing. A copy of the budget is available for public inspection at the township hall.  The township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon seven(7) days notice to the Bangor Township Board.  Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Bangor Township Clerk by writing or calling the following:269-427-8965  Linda Poland Bangor township clerk 32550 CR 687 Bangor Michigan 49013 .

Planning Commission: Scheduled regular meetings for 2015: April 1st, May 7th, September 3rd, October 1st, and November 5th, December 3rd at 7:00 PM at Bangor Township hall.

Board of Review:  The following is the Bangor Township Board of Review schedule for the March 2015 session.  The Board meets at the Bangor Township Hall at 32550 CR 687 Bangor Michigan.

Tuesday March 3rd at 1PM Organizational Meeting (Public welcome but no appeales)

The Board will meet to hear assessment appeals on the following dates:

Wednesday March 11th, 9AM to Noon and 1PM to 4PM

Thursday March 12th, 1PM to 4PM and 6PM to 9PM

Saturday March 14th, 9AM to Noon

As usual, taxable value increases are capped by the current cost-of-living increase (assuming no transfer of ownership or physical changes to the property in the prior calendar year).  The current COLA for this year is 1.6% .
